That doesn't necessarily mean anything. Just because there's an account doesn't mean it's attached to anything. We all know that companies do not like to let their userdata go. And Google isn't going to let your data go no matter what they tell you.

This. I've "deleted" several prior gmail accounts. I am quite sure that data is sitting on a server somewhere.

And I've still got access to an antivirus console from a company I used to work for years ago...the employer doesn't exist anymore but there's still an account. There's no license or anything in the account, but it's still there.

For about a year I had access to a console from an employer I got canned from. It was just monitoring and I couldn't break anything but how little these people think about security makes me wonder how these companies haven't gone under yet. My only guess is the Isreali, Chinese, whomever know the intelligence will stop if they pull the trigger.

Something tells me that is the most monitored account in the entire company with automatic red-flags if anyone even glances in that direction.
