just throwing this out there, but Coca Cola is one of the only companies allowed to import the cocaine plant to use in their product, true to this day! They use it to flavor their drink. The addictive part is a bi product, i think (correct me if I'm wrong).
I'm suuuuure they dispose of it properly /s
I wonder if most of cocaine trade within the USA is sponsored by coca cola
They also have a Govt supply agreement with big pharma to sell off the 'by-product', which is then used by big pharma to manufacture opioid (OxyContin etc) pain tablets.
Is there any research about cocaine addicts and their predisposition to drinking coca cola? Booze usually goes with cocaine for hardcore users, but think of it this:
If there really is cocaine-related addictive chemicals in Coke, then a cocaine addict could potentially drink it to help ease themselves off of the drug- the Coke would make cravings less intense. Figured I'd throw this out there, since we're speculating.
Not that I'm putting it passed the US government and coca cola conspiring to import massive amounts of cocaine. Nothing would surprise me these days.
I doubt a coca cola would be helpful for that, if anything the only thing it would do is make people more inclined to try coke. I don't think there's a single healthy quality coca cola can offer IMO but I do appreciate your speculation, always good to search for that silver lining
