The fact that these government employees are undertaking an explicit operation to prosecute and convict someone is grounds for their dismissal on ethical grounds. Prosecutors are NOT meant to pursue conviction, they are ethically obligated to pursue the truth. That obligation has obviously been discarded some time ago though, as activist prosecutors across the country seek to use the criminal justice system to punish their political opponents and to extirpate their political allies from its grasp, even if they are guilty of heinous crimes.

The law means nothing to them. Same in AZ, the AZ Supreme court judged Kari Lake could get signature verification, Maricopa Election committee said no you can't. They are disregarding the law of the land.
