When I was doing video work years ago, I used the opening credits to Stargate SG-1 season 3 (from the DVDs) as a test bed to fine tune my process. It was Season 3: "Past and Present" - probably spent 30-40 hours fucking with that episode leaning how the encoders worked.
All that moving flashing shit and quick scene changes drove encoders nuts.
