I'm watching at 1.75 speed and notice the 'captain' has a problem with not combing her hair and because she is so short tries to curl up in many different positions in the captain chair to make that her quirky character thing.
Just reminds me how short small women who try that on airplanes actually just overflow somehow into my seat area and it pisses me off if the bottom of their shoe is against my leg. No amount of cutesy curling up in a seat works for anyone even when they are short and small.
edit : I finished it and went to 2x for the song at the end. That really sucked and the speeding up seemed the right speed for the crap story.

There was a chubby no makeup short haired lesbian type that was some kind of 'educational' liaison or something stationed on the bridge which hints the role is to make sure the academy students (audience) get the right educational message (propaganda and indoctrination) from whatever happens.
The 'hero' of the story is a black teen criminal with no father...I thought that was supposed to be racist. The mother is white the kid is black so the father must have gone out to get milk or something because the mom was hungry and needed food and the black father was no longer in their life.
The Klingon is sensitive and dreams of bird-watching, not battle and honor as a warrior.
Some kind of magical fat hologram black female is the 'Data' that doesn't understand human ways and has to be taught.
I don't understand this other character that is a White male Krionian Cry-onion? That asks a super smart girl to turn around and not look as he changes into a ..... black character. What was going on here? He was afraid she'd not be into him when she sees he turns black? I don't get the reason for asking her to turn and not look.

This is a millennial fever dream show. It's a perfect example of what the turds of the boomers really are. As a very solid Gen X person, I've watched the millennials crawl in to the employment ranks and this show exemplifies who they are. They're awful. I weep for society as these incredibly useless idiots take over positions of power and leadership. Looks a little bit like GenZ and even the Alphas might turn things around. But damn the gods we must suffer these boomer-spawned millennial turds.
