I USED to think TNG was peak. Then...I rewatched it....

TNG's issue is the weekly episode format left it with the same problem as Voyager: Every problem or issue or conflict felt minor because you knew they'd overcome it. That was why the first Borg storyline hit so hard. It legit felt dangerous.

DS9, and less so Enterprise, both had season long stories that helped to write a good narrative. I WILL agree with the people who say that Enterprise stories had issues. The whole time travel plot COULD have been good but was ruined by bad execution. The Xindi war could have been better. When it finally hit it's stride and could have delved into the earth romulan war, it was canceled. But when you watch it from the beginning, the storyline as a whole was more consistent than TNG. It COULD be because TNG was on for so much longer. But just going with what we have to watch, IMO, Enterprise is the better of the two series.

DS9 is number one though. No other series touches it. I can count on 1 hand and not use all the fingers how many "bad" episodes it had. DS9 was just a great series start to finish. Especially Nog. I LOVE Nog.
