Too bad this much care didn't go into making Obi Wan or Book of Fett.

Totally worth pirating.

I watched the latest episode a few hours ago. It's a good series. I like the torturer women who has a permanent frown on her mouth. The autistic guy tried to pay her a compliment and she nearly had him arrested.

This won't be the last encounter they have I'm sure. Interested to see where that little subplot goes.

It has turned out to be better than most. All the bad guys are white though. One fucking day, were going to take this mother fucker back

I don't want a bunch of niggers in the Empire. Ruins the look.

Andor the show is a mediocre effort at best. Andor the character is a rather sad little man who, with the exception of the first scene in the 1st episode, has virtually no agency and drifts blandly from situation to situation. Since the show is named after him you'd expect he'd play a more significant role, but he's mostly just a vehicle to hang plot progression on to.

Scenes in general run way too long for no reason that I can tell except to pad out episodes. Dialogue is clunky, which would be excusable if the scenes were short and to the point but they are not. And there is virtually no tension leading up to and during action scenes, with the perhaps exception of the already mentioned first scene.

What Andor the show is not is another flat out desecration of Star Wars. This can be the only reason that I can think of why people, such as OP, sing its praises.

It does look pretty though.

It is a bit odd that the show is named Andor when characters like Mon Mothma and Dedra Meero have just as prominent roles. I think they are doing an okay job of showing Andor's character development from a troubled miscreant who mostly looks out for himself to someone who will ultimately join the cause of the rebellion which he ends up giving his life for.

What Andor the show is not is another flat out desecration of Star Wars.

Kind of nice for a change!
