No YouTube video should ever be watched at less than 1.5x speed. I agree, Rogue One sucked. The protagonist was unbelievably old looking for the role, the only White males of note were the beta villains, the plot was lacking, and it subverted Episode 4 bigly by undermining Leia and Tarkin. Dunno if Gareth Edwards making a gritty war movie would have been any better as Star Wars has no background for being "Saving Private Ryan... in *Space*". Although, a properly gritty war movie would not have presented the Rebel Alliance as a bunch of beta males run by an imperious old hag or had a dried-up woman with daddy issues as the protagonist so maybe it would have been an improvement even though it would still have only been "Star Wars in name only"?
