These poor horses are literally murdered when they stop racing- many electrocuted- and the owner collects the insurance. A despicable sport industry, as is dog racing.

I do not know where you get that information. I know many people who own off the track thoroughbreds. I have never heard of anybody killing their racehorse at the end of its career.

This happens quite often. The horse knows his job. I firmly believe that all horse racing is fixed. Without the jockey to hold him back, his odds of winning go way up.
