If your entire opinion is based off of a parroted, rasist assessment of a boxer without ever having watched their fights, knowing their era of box, knowing their style of fighting compared to others, etc. You simple make yourself out to be an ignorant dolt. Tyson's era of boxing in his prime, from 85-89, was a slow time. All the previous heavyweights had retired or were in sharp declines. The argument that Tyson fought bums is incorrect. He fought everyone who was available during that period. A lot of the people he fought were actually undefeated prior to their battle against Tyson. There's only one fighter who Tyson dodged in his prime (and indeed his career), and that was George Foreman. And for good reason. Styles make fights. Against a man like Ali, Shavers, or Fraizer, Tyson would have held his own well and possibly won. But Foreman is tailor made for demolishing inside brawlers. Tyson knew this. His trainers knew this. It's why he never took the fight. And for the accusations that he sucks because he lost to Holyfield and Lewis: that's like saying Ali sucked because he lost to Holmes at the end of his career in the 70s. By the time he fought those men, he was we'll past his prime, had gone through prison, was doing drugs, and had many personal demons behind the scenes he was fighting. I understand if someone dislikes Tyson cause he's a thug nigger in the ring and his upbringing. But he's not a stupid man. He's one of the best heavyweights in history. He's a very take-no-shit guy with reporters. And people would do well to know what they're talking about before they spout off and look like an idiot
