Damn, when he entered the village with the urban section I thought it was the near the end, but then I saw seven minutes to go. Those riders must be so fit, plus the skill level and remembering the route. There was some good tricks straight lining the switchbacks in there.

I thought the same. Agreed the skill set and pushing the limits of the bike are unearthly. Back in the 90s this would be separated into cross country versus downhill. Each type had entirely different champions.
