Is this normal? Or excuse for them to experiment more with weather weapons

There are a large number of huge sun-spots right now. This happens sometimes.

It is likely we will be seeing this a lot over the next 1-3 years. We just have to hope we don't have a proper Carrington Event. Most infrastructure around the world will fail and it will be bad.
