Lunar cycle, that's the crazy part. The moon's face is still relative to us, and the sun spins on its axis once every phase cycle of the moon. So from full moon to full moon = 1 sun rotation.

29.5 days for the lunar cycle =/= 27 days of the suns rotation. Plus surface rotation is not consistent at all latitudes.
