22 degrees in Florida. Like it’s not gonna be -100 degrees in outer space? What? They cant make an o-ring that can withstand 22 deg? Part of my line of work involves orings. I know better than this crock of shit. How stupid do they think we are? Don’t comment unless you read the whole stupid article.

The O ring was on the solid rocket booster. So it wouldn't go to space. 2 the O ring was failing in testing repeatedly and the company who designed asked to scrub the launch. The director of NASA at the time assumed risk as did the president of the company who made the SBR. AND FINALLY the already failing O ring was structurally compromised further by a record breaking winter..... do some research man.

All my research has turned up is that NASA and space are fake and gay, and we are fools to believe any of this horseshit.

Well clearly you're not doing good research if you thought the O ring that failed was going to go to space. And you also would have known it had been failing in testing but because the challenger launch was such a high vis mission that they decided to go forward even though none of the design team wanted to. You would have also known that since they were broadcasting live when the launch happened that several photos and stills actually showed the moment the seals failed

Besides, when is it ever 22 degrees in Florida? Isn’t the nice weather why old fat White people move there?
