Where would china be in ten years if all their new tech ideas had to come from themselves? They would be back to being a second rate country!!! And their military, financial and geopolitical power is just as fake. Once we cut off all the tech leaks and bring our own companies home they are fucked. They killed off all their intellectuals, entrepreneurs and free thinkers under Mao. They still haven't invented a single thing that has been a commercial success. And that's the real test of a successful economy.
