I thought they left a long time ago.
They've not really been a thing for a while, but it's still there. For now.
I'm actually really annoyed. They were basically Windows Update 2.0— letting you make sure all your shit was still up-to-date— all those small apps that you don't really think about. Shame.
I know, it's like one of the last stars from the Old Internet finally faded and went out.
They should bundle everything up with the HTML code for the website and torrent it.
That'd be neat. At least there's still filehippo.
They need to provide archives as torrents and let them go free.
Actually, instead of having all the software on the servers - which probably costs them a ton - just do like pirate bay and provide magnet links for everything. edit: and hashes for security
No hosting costs other than a few pages and searching.
