The group didn't want to fly into Trenton so they chose to do Philly and rent a van so we could drive to Princeton. We were there to visit a laboratory that was developing new software for laboratory information management that our company wanted to use. I was there to talk shop with the main programmer to get a feel for his knowledge and whether or not he was going to stick around for long. It was a waste of time for me as I could have done that over the phone. I ended up being the one who left my company shortly after that trip for a better job with the competition. This happened back in 1998 or thereabout.
