Sounds great. Yeah that would be an investment which can actually pay itself back when used correctly. Not a bad price considering its a tool to find loot.
We have tried magnet fishing, but not this location yet. My wife will likely love it also. She loves this stuff.

I worked PT in a prospecting shop that sold detectors for a time and quite often the wives were as into it as much as the husbands. Team hunting helps you cover more ground faster too.

Outside the initial investment it’s a low cost hobby. With the onboard rechargeable batteries most machines have now the only consumables you have might be a coil cover every other year.

The incorporation of modern tech into the machines has made the constant ground balancing necessary in some ground much easier and less frustrating for more time hunting and less time adjusting the machine.

Wasn’t too long ago I saw where someone pulled a nice Roman sword from the Thames with a magnet. Haven’t magnet fished myself, very little water where I live. Detectorist have been killing it in Europe lately finding gold hoards. You never know what you’ll find out there! Lol, you will dig a lot of trash though. Out here nugget hunting we call it cleaning the desert one bullet at a time.
