Well, it is a dam, but they're usually built for some reason be it flood control or providing a water source for something. The concrete debris in the spill makes me think it may have been to provide water to a long-gone mill.

Spillover goes to a tunnel underneath a road. Abandoned old house not far.. actually, may have been a mill once. Even more concrete below throughout the rocks here or there

That's quite likely. Small mills were everywhere at one time to provide services for local farms. Lots of little hits in the roads around me called "_____ Mills" for that very reason.

Yeah. Didn't catch shit today though. Possible bites. Using corn for carp since it's so early.
