It is clear they have multiple alts they are using to downvote specific users this is brigading. I did not want to ban anyone but I have attempted to contact this person multiple times without any response. So here is there voting log and registration log of alts. I would like to say I really did not want to do this. However I have observed them using these accounts to try and manipulate the voting system. It bothers me that I could not find another option. I wish they would have responded and been open to a dialogue about it. So without further comment here are the screen caps.

This is my attempt to provide documentation proving an attempt to game the system. If anyone objects to it let me know and I will consider reversing the ban. However something had to be done. Brigading will not be tolerated here it is not speech it is censorship.

I disagree w this idea. Removing the DV is silly. Look at Facebook. No Dislike button there and it's just an echo chamber of feel-good bullshit. If we are to have votes we must have both up and down.

With a site this small and not growing at a very pace this is a very interesting idea to explore.

That's the thing with poal; it's so small right now. Why not test out a bunch of these ideas.

I could be down w that. All or nothing. We'd need a system to replace it. But I think views and comments could work. If a submission gets a lot of views and comments that activity would drive it up the page. Which also can be gamed of course. But if we're to have votes, I want both up and down.

Right on. It's something I've been thinking about lately too. There must be a better system. What it is escapes me.
