Wow. There's a reason I avoid 'retreats' like the plague. I always make up an excuse. I once had a boss threaten to fire me if I didn't go out with everyone after work. So I did. When I refused to get drunk with them and only drank water she eventually relented and didn't make me go out with them. I didn't last too long at that job. Most of the other places with crap like that just figured I was 'shy' and let me be. I'm not. I just don't want to hang out with coworkers outside of work. And I hate large groups.
