Same with those that have animu or rick and morty stickers on their cars. Saw some bundle of sticks with a pickle rick sticker on his/her car a few days ago and it made me cringe hard.

I watched rick and morty... it mildly amused me but i kinda hated they had some deep thought kinda stuff in their show paired up with gross scenes like the time rick and morty were being mind controled by alien mask parasites that started making out, so it looked they were making out. Truly felt disrespected as a watcher. The show is such a load of crap.

Some anime have better morals, characters and story than any other western IP, so yeah western cartoon shirts deserve derision as much as wearing a sports jersey for a team you don't play on. But weeb shirts and band shirts are a case by case basis.

Edit; we can just gas people wearing vtuber merch though.
