No - the metric was developed to create a system with a base of ten, which makes all computations easier.

Metric is CLEARLY best, the science is settled.

No - the metric was developed to create a system with a base of ten, which makes all computations easier.

Yet in fact it actually makes computations harder which is why dozenal was used throughout the common systems of units across Europe.

I’ll use my decades off engineering professional work to disagree. I’m my current role, my team coordinates and collaborated with teams from numerous international partners, more than one team (different contracts) based in Europe. Nobody uses dozenal.

I'll go back to my decades as a design engineer along with working on many projects like building construction, machining, and other stuff to say that metric sucks and is far less useful than customary units.

I’m my current role, my team coordinates and collaborated with teams from numerous international partners, more than one team (different contracts) based in Europe.

So you work with a lot of commies and don't actually make or design anything.

Nobody uses dozenal.

Commies in (((international corporations))) don't and their don't care a bit about which system is better or more useful. If you can't see the advantages of dozenal then you clearly don't do much activity that requires measuring and dividing said measurements a lot. Again, I will fall back on the fact dozenal was used in Europe for way longer than this made up shit metric system that embodies the spirit of French revolutionary socialism.
