The closest one I have seen (years ago, don't know if it is still a thing) was called "Love it or List it". Some reno person gets a budget from the homeowners and tries to reno the house so they will "love it". While the work is being done, they stay in a hotel and a real estate agent shows them some other houses that meet (or come close to meeting) what they want to see in a house. Then they see the finished work on their own house and decide do they want to keep it, or let the real estate agent sell it and get them into one of the homes they were shown.
