We all know this well overplayed trope is bullshit. At this point, for anyone paying attention, it’s as obvious as “water is wet.” Yet there are those on the left who still bathe in the koolaid.
Why?
It hit me today that we have irrefutable proof that this is not true. In every measurable statistic of progress, strength, growth, etc. we are falling behind where we were. BRIC countries have all made enormous strides from an economic perspective. Our children’s intelligence has flatlined relative to them. Our mortality rates have fallen. Once the world’s leader in almost every category, we now struggle to keep up.

The only things that have changed are the levels of “diversity”. While our country becomes more diverse, we fall behind those that avoid it.
