It is often characterized by derogatory language and can contribute to societal division and harm. The problem? There are major differences in people based on attributes such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability. Differences in IQ, differences in behavior, differences in culture, differences we're no longer allowed to talk about because it would be "prejudiced". We would be per-judgeing them to notice the patterns and reality. For a specific example, when one ethnicity (jews) attacks or subverts another (Whites), we can no longer talk about it, because that would be "hate speech" When one ethnicity (jews) imports a bunch of dangerous, low-IQ violent people of another ethnicity (haitians) into a small town of a third ethnicity (Whites), we can't talk about what the jews did. It's unacceptable that twatter changed it's terms of use policy to prohibit their definition of "hate speech".
