they can fall for an abundance of reasons, all of them worthy of study and understanding to try and prevent. Ultimately though I think this proves that society is like glass. It can be very strong under certain conditions, but very fragile in others. think of something as simple as sanitation. cleaning out our neighborhoods and cities from rubbish keeps the ability for disease to flourish and spread way down, but if sanitation stops tomorrow our society would be shit within weeks/months.
