They view us as unwashed because they see us still in the paradigm of sinner/savior whereby we need to be washed in the blood of Jesus to receive salvation. Meanwhile they are climbing the Yosher or walking the labyrinth, through which they believe they are transcending their fallen nature itself and alleviating the very need for purification.
