The indignity of the situation is too much. These kind of situations make me reflect on Marvin Heemeyer and how reasonable men can be pushed to do unreasonable things. I believe we're going to be forced into being very unreasonable before this is over.

Yep. This isn't a model of life I want to live in. I'm already training for the wars to come. The left was so angry that they broke society out of spite and now they have to be stopped.

Yeah, this is a miserable and unlivable set of circumstances. There is no constructive dialog to be had and there is no middle ground with these creatures. This can only go one way.

Unpopular opinion on Mr. Marvin Heemeyer, AKA "Killdozer": He was fucking PATHETIC.

The township and concrete plant colluded to fuck Marvin, over and over again. This cannot be argued, what they put him through was absolutely unconscionable. So what's my problem with Heemeyer?

Why do we call him/his machine the KILL dozer, when HE KILLED NOBODY. All he did was wreck a few buildings, shoot a few power transformers, got stuck and shot himself. He had a small arsenal, including rifles and carbines, with gunports on his machine. At the beginning of his rampage, the son of the owner of the concrete plant that ruined Marvin's life tried to use a construction vehicle to ram Marvin away. MARVIN COULD'VE KILLED THAT GUY, BUT HE DIDN'T. Why?

What did Heemeyer's tantrum truly achieve? All the damage he did- covered by insurance. The people whose property he targeted- now suddenly they're victims.

What I'm saying, is Marvin was insane and didn't understand why he was doing what he was doing by the end. If his goal was revenge, he could've slaughtered almost every individual who screwed up his life; but he didn't, he just busted up some buildings, putting the MONSTERS who drove him insane into a mildly inconvenient position for a month or two. Meanwhile, Marvin is putting a gun to his head in his dank, dark steel coffin. A tantrum that accomplished NOTHING. I don't' understand the worship of him- HE ULTIMATELY FAILED.

So yeah... if you're going for revenge, maybe actually DO IT.

I can only speculate what was going through his mind, but I think the only thing he really knew for sure was he was going to die that day. He was likely in the middle of a psychotic break and incredibly manic while getting carried away with the destruction before he got stuck.

I can't really disagree with your points, he ultimately accomplished nothing. To me, he is more like an avatar for the dejected and frustrated silenced majority. I view Skyking the same way.

Are you secretly me using another account?! That's precisely how I think about these two individuals. Force was applied to them- not directly as in "people beating them up", but social force that drove these men to absolute despair, where they snapped. I feel a lot of sympathy towards both of them, but it is kind of... disappointing that they did not truly take revenge against the people who broke them.

Our innate, overwhelming empathy makes us weak. Even when Heemeyer got into that fucking tank, armed to the teeth... he couldn't bring himself to shoot anyone. It's not because of his faith- he shot himself dead, which results in being cast into hell, regardless of how you lived your life. Marvin was absolutely undergoing a psychotic break, and he believed it was God speaking to him. He believed that God blinded all of the customers who came into his shop and saw the machine; in reality they probably just thought it was there to be fixed or w/e. He recorded some audio tapes while working on the machine, and he sounds like a raving lunatic. He believed "God is on his side".

Did God punish the people who ruined Heemeyer? No- they're all fucking rich and happy, and they probably frequently joke about Marvin's rampage, gloating about how "they won". Meanwhile, Heemeyer died alone, sealed in his machine. Where was God in any of this? Superstition needs to die off, for real- you can live by the tenets laid out in scriptures, but to believe it literally is absurd.

We are kindred spirits, you and I.
