You know how to hurt a guy. Voat made us tougher and thicker skinned. I learned to not let my anger dictate my response. Just ignore the stupidity and move on to more constructive things. I learned that you have to choose your battles, and not wasting time arguing with some immature faggot larva that never finished a book. I guess I am saying that I learned that the truth is more important than my feelings.

Yeah.... but there was a LOT of stupidity. It's not about hurting one's feelings after a point it just becomes a waste of time.

No argument there. I think after a while people got it out of their system and started being more constructive.

Haha, yeah, I agree. Poal was always more polite and more information dense and you were more likely to have thought provoking conversations. Since the goat exodus many of the positives have gone down unfortunately, but there's more content which is good. And some of voat's worst aspects haven't returned in force. There were days on voat where 90% of the posts were "da joooze r bad" copy pasta. I don't mind reading that now and then, but over and over and over... I get it... jews are bad... can we talk about something else now?
