its the carbonation, home brew soda machines will break you of that, because they taste like shit. I did it accidentally, but now I'm off soda and hopelessly addicted to nicotine and coffee. Soda was bad for my teeth, but coffee and smokes was destroying my guts (and mind).
when you light a cigarette over a doobie... you know you've broken something.
I recommend Earl Grey Tea, it tastes better and while I dont think its great for teeth, I'm pretty sure the majority consensus is that it is healthier internally. I think, dont quote me, not a doctor. Coffee is a wicked mistress and you dont wanna get your noodle stuck in here. I thought it made me a grown up once upon a time, it totally did, now I'm dying just like the adults I knew in my youth (who are now all dead).
It occurs to me that notions and delusions such as the many we are taught, are extremely dangerous to our well-being..... and primarily commercial in nature.
I get headaches from coffee and cig withdrawal. Full on chemical withdrawal. It would be amazing if it wasnt so tragic. Its incredibly effective, I even know its happening and I summon willpower and I still bellyflop. No excuses, 100% my fault, just describing the fight. Also, yes... worse things have happened but I've danced a bit close to the flame for awhile so currently trying to get back to my preferred state of health. At first, that meant being more 'normie', enter coffee and donuts etc... the donuts didnt last long... but the coffee set roots and wont let go. Trying to be normie has fucked me over, so I went the other way, my most success at fighting addiction is eating (normally) instead of binging my poisons. This is because I will take the poison to avoid eating (smoke instead of eat, smoke when stomach growls, get coffee, back to work) . This routine, plus the lockdowns and minimal exercise (home gym), I think might have almost killed me, or at least made me very ill until I noticed and yanked the leash back.
One cannot look into the stores at large, and say "they sell it openly, its gotta be ok", that is not a safe assertion. The normies are wrong.
