So you're saying that if I got a car with a sealed engine, then I could take it with me into the pool? Because that's the selling point of sealed phones. Equally as ridiculous. Unnessary.

Not a perfect analogy.

Also, a seal is possible with a removable cover.

It just needs thicker and/or multi-layer rubber isolations.
