Ah, The Short North. That's a district much like Times Square - Decline in the 60s, don't go there in the 80s. In the early 90s, the city started cleaning it up and it was actually a nice place to go visit. Clean, lots of stores, some weird shit leftover from the tenderloin days but that added some unusual flavor to the area. Reproductions of the old cross-over-the-street arches were re-added, things looked good.

Last 5 years or so, it's going back to the way it was in the 80s. Crime is starting to pick up, police won't go there unless it's major, the artfags that inhabit the area whine about the lack of customers and the crime but refuse to see niggers are the problem.

Friend of mine knows a lot of people from that area and he was mentioning they were complaining about the uptick in crime. He said he told them you either vote in people who are tough on crime and get rid of the niggers, or you deal with the crime and lose your shit. Said the whiners did not want to hear that.
