This is a superior option, but children need to be socialized and my point was that unarmed gatherings of humans are a soft target for the insane. At least at community events there is a chance of an armed parent being present. The left and their no gun zones, while sold to the public as safety, actually endanger children.
In Ohio, at least in our district, homeschooled children are entitled to the extra curricular activities offered by the local school system- you pay for those with your taxes. Find other homeschooling groups and work with them to create social events.
