He is a good one from what I can tell. Tom Hanks was always considered the clownish low budget version of him until he did that required propaganda aids movie "philadelphia" then got the role for forest gump. After that Keaton was diminished from A list and had to take whatever diminishing roles he could get. Finally he got some recognition with Birdman.
