I just rewatched the pilot of House MD and it was great. Besides being an intelligent show, it brought me beautiful memories of watching the show when everything was still normal around. I liked the show at first. Recently, while hospitalized, I binge-watched it and got burned out on the main character (Dr. Gregory House, played by Hugh Laurie), always insisting the rest of the staff accept his eccentricities.

Exactly, his mannerisms and odd inflective (for lack of better term) way of talking eventually just gets on your nerves and distracts from the rest of the show.
