I wonder why they never pair a black woman with a white dude. It's almost as if they are ashamed of females of color. Something should be done to correct this injustice.

There's nothing wrong with casting mixed races when it makes sense for the show. Firefly made a point of including diversity because it was part of the universe and it added to the show as a whole. The Expanse does this to good effect as well, though the 5th season started to feel like we were having some 'woke' sexism shoved down our throats which was very unfortunate.
