Your addons like umatrix and ublock will block the frames and scripts from the page before they're loaded by the browser, so the vast majority of the ads that your DNS blocker would otherwise block, aren't even seen by anything other than ublock / umatrix. This was getting to me for a short while, then it was like "no shit retard".
