Moode Audio Player is a derivative of the wonderful WebUI audio player client for MPD originally designed and coded by Andrea Coiutti and Simone De Gregori, and subsequently enhanced by early efforts from the RaspyFi/Volumio projects.

moOde provides a beautifully designed and responsive user interface, an extensive set of Audiophile-grade features and an active Forum that provides top notch troubleshooting, interesting discussion on a variety of audio topics and an International user community of audio enthusiasts.


The download zip contains a ready-to-use ISO image. Simply write it to an SD Card, power up the Raspberry Pi and view the Setup guide to get started.

I love it. Everyone in the house can connect from their own device and add to the playlist throughout the day. It integrates with my home assistant. Bluetooth if you want to stream from your device. Runs flawlessly on a Pi Zero W. Spotify if you're into that. The only thing I haven't tried is the multiroom sync.

I would recommend this to anyone. It's super easy to setup and it "just works".

I haven’t searched much, but can you use it with an external usb DAC, or does the Pi’s built-in stereo analog output can be used to drive an Amp?
