why would enabling css possible affect your info, java script makes sense since its a programming language css is just a bunch of styles for webpages

Using the internet leaks your info. It's a game of calculated risk. You have to decide what info you allow your computer to have so when it leaks it out onto the public network, you at least are as protected as you have chosen to be. The simple answer is to not give your computer anything you don't wish to be made public.
