Translation:

>Tonight we watch the matches — and raise the rainbow flag at home in Strängnäs. Last week, the Hungarian parliament hammered out a law that prohibits sending messages depicting homosexuals or transgender people to people under the age of 18. They must not be mentioned, not seen. The Hungarian government's grotesque attacks on the most fundamental values of free society continue. But the rest of us continue to stand up for these values. The EU must act forcefully when fundamental rights are violated in a member state.

But so must each of us. To show solidarity with Hungarian LGBTQ people, the Munich city council proposed that the Allianz Arena be lit up in rainbow colors when Germany and Hungary meet tonight — after our own game.

LGBTQ people are also discriminated against in Poland, most recently with the introduction of so-called LGBTQ-free zones.

UEFA says no to rainbow displays during the European Championship and stopped the Allianz Arena from shining in rainbow colors during the match. That must be their decision. So let the rest of us do it instead. Several arenas in Berlin, Frankfurt and Cologne have today raised the rainbow flag.

The flag in Strängnäs will fly proudly over my family tonight. The fight for the equal value of all people continues.

I hope more people raise their rainbow flag today. And cheering for Sweden, of course. My warmest congratulations to the Swedish national football team!
