I had to include the HN comments archive since the top post is pretty interesting. Crows are damn smart though. I really want to train some to bring money/shiny stuff to get food. It is apparently not too hard but I don't have any that live near me so I will have to wait I guess.

Had a crow eating my coworkers lunch far inside a building, while another stood watch and warned the other when we were coming. Smart birds.. They still hang around outside, and I think one of them holds a grudge against me, for the policy of always closing our garbage container during the day. Since I closed the lid one day to scare him a bit..
