Reality - the entire earth is designed to be burned and returned. Changing that dynamic with artificial battery power can pollute far greater than the natural burning of oil. When we can survive yearly forest fires and volcanic eruptions that spew 60x "greenhouse gasses" in a single erruption than man has cumulatively created since the mid 1800's without issue, well there isn't a problem.
