Short answer, yes. It's not even that hard and there are multiple ways to achieve this.

>I'M SURPRISED AT the number of YouTube and TikTok videos showing novel ways to pump water, but I guess it makes sense, because the whole world pretty much runs on water. If you haven’t seen these before, they often show someone sticking some pipes into water and shaking them back and forth until all of a sudden they start spouting endless quantities of liquid. It looks magical: There's no apparent power source, but the water keeps flowing, sometimes from an outdoor body of water, sometimes from a container the person keeps refilling. It’s like these devices run on “free energy,” or energy with no apparent origin.

Fake. You can siphon water, but not pump it higher than the highest point of the water in a container. It's likely this video is fake... probably gay too.

That is exactly what a "Ram pump" does. They do work too. You have "waste water" so that is not ideal but it works.

I didn't mention it because setup is gay. It requires a very specific situation. I prefer gasoline, personally. It's simple, reliable and works no mater where the liquid is. A simple hand pump also works well. Oh, let's not forget buckets. I used them often to "pump" water out of my boat. Often, gallons at a time.

Ram pumps only work when source body of water is flowing. Not really "very specific" but a certain circumstance indeed. Water can be pumped up hill quite a distance with a decent body of flowing water.
