“Since our universe has a flat geometry with a zero net energy, an advanced civilization could have developed a technology that created a baby universe out of nothing through quantum tunneling,” Loeb writes in an op-ed published by Scientific American last year.

Let's string a bunch of gobbledygook together and pretend it makes sense.

Absolutely anything except for God created the universe, they seem to be saying - never considering that the "alien" they imagine IS God and the "lab" God's Word.

I argue every angel and god like being man ever saw where all aliens.

As is your prerogative.

Maybe its both? Wouldn't Aliens from another universe be Gods? Not the God but Gods to us.

Scientists haven’t even proven gravity yet. It’s still a theory lol.

Yeah I’m totally going to believe this. /s

This guy's just shifting creation to the back of another turtle. Who created the aliens he says created our universe? The only philosophical backstop for this argument is a "Creator" who is uncreated because always existent. Nobody created God, because God always was. He exists outside of time. There is no before God.

"It’s a truly, truly bonkers idea, but it is interesting to think about."

IMHO no, it's not really even that interesting at all. But whatever lights up your board, I guess...

Avi Loeb. That doesn't sound European...

Abraham "Avi" Loeb is an Israeli-American theoretical physicist who works on astrophysics and cosmology.

coulda , shoulda , wouda; It's all fantasy until there is proof. dreaming it doesn't make it true.

without faith, how would religion exist?

Faith in alien incarnation would negate my religious faith in God. I'll stick with the comfortable unknown.
