Weeks, however, are much weirder and clunkier. A duration of seven days doesn’t align with any natural cycles
Um, it aligns with the quarters of the Moon's phases as best as can be with 24-hour days. Is this dude extra retarded?

Thankfully we have a week so that Christians can claim the day of rest on Sunday.
We have no idea what Time is, so it is not a surprise that we live in a clown world where groups of religious morons kill each other in a pursuit to push their delusional agenda labeled as a Truth on other people.
In Los Angeles California, as I write this, it is 11:12 in the AM.
"Today" is the daylight period that came after we slept during the dark period that followed the previous light period that is now called "yesterday"
In a certain number of hours from now we will have another dark period, and the new daylight that comes after that dark period is now, today, called "tomorrow"..
Hope that helps.
If today, yesterday and tomorrow is a phenomenon based on cycles of light and dark then on poles there are long days that last 6 months.
Begone commiefornia kike.
Sorry, I didn't know you were only 12 years old.
Was there something that you didn't understand or are you just an asshole mouthing off?
So lunch in the dusk is breakfast and lunch at dawn is dinner and if I forgot my lunch its fasting.
Your "lunch" is whatever you call lunch, whenever you eat it or don't eat it.
1 spin of the earth. (according to mathematical calculations) Not "day/night" or "dark/light"
