The less light your skin absorbs the more your cells can produce vitamin D.
What you say doesn't make sense.. Sunlight is supposed to help the body to produce Vitamin D.
"The amount of vitamin D your skin makes depends on many factors, including the time of day, season, latitude and your skin pigmentation. Depending on where you live and your lifestyle, vitamin D production might decrease or be completely absent during the winter months. *Sunscreen, while important to prevent skin cancer, also can decrease vitamin D production."*
Sunlight is supposed to help the body to produce vitamin D
Sunscreen, which blocks sunlight, can decrease vitamin D production.
Poorly phrased maybe. The ligher your skin is the more fully UV rays penetrate to stimulate vitamin D production. What you said and what I said aren't incongruent.
take my upvote for the use of incongruent
This thread is a mindfuck hahah
