Global temperature is largely moderated by the solar cycle.

Some solar cycles are more active than others.

We are also undergoing a magnetic poll flip as our solar system approaches the galactic plain.

During this time our magnetic field declines rapidly in strength.

The reduction in field strength serves to magnify the impact of solar activity on our planet.

Also, static electrified dust from the galactic plain is also expected to greatly enhance the level of solar activity...
