Don't forget that academics have no model of "force at a distance".
Because quantum states are discrete and nothing actually touches at the quantum scale, academics have no local model of force either.
Simply put, academics have no model of forces, meaning they can't make coherent statements about "forces", as exhibited by the fracture between Relativity and Quantum Mechanics.
What passes for science to the layman is actually just "technology". The model resolving the issue of "force at a distance" exists, but since so few even comprehend the issue, we're just left with a scramble for political control and fractured sciences like Physics, which hasn't fundamentally advanced in over 100 years.
In lieu of a scientific model, we get political models. Political models pose as "science", but they're just models of the own modeler's (academic's) political power. Whatever they say is somehow legitimate based on the political model.
The last time in history this sort of "modeling crisis" in science happened was during the Medieval era when Galileo's model of Heliocentrism single-handedly swept aside the legitimacy of the ruling powers of the day.
Having been spoon-fed political models their entire lives without questioning the narrative, it seems doubtful if today's human race can even comprehend the issue. Today's technology is vastly superior to the stained-glass cathedrals, paintings, and sculptures of the Medieval era, meaning today's audience is more receptive than ever to technological slavery.
Beautifully said.
Dammit, I hate when anyone agrees. I'll troll harder next time.
Fine, you're wrong and you should feel bad, and may the sticky paper on your skateboard fall off.
The biggest failure of any model is that the model doesn't understand the nature of energy, it is because we don't understand energy itself. Because when we study energy at a very small scale, we see that energy is released when matter bonds, and is consumed when matter breaks apart. That is counter intuitive to our perception, because we use energy to break things, or push them, not to assemble. Assembling things consumes energy instead of releasing it.
The CTMU overrides conventional models, placing them in meaningful context and conceptually unifying GR with QM, and these with Biology, thereby yielding a true "Theory of Everything". This doesn't presume some "Grand Unified Theory" of Physics doesn't exist, but even such a theory, without explaining Biology, wouldn't be a "ToE".
The CTMU uses a fundamental logical duality, one holding between "Endomorphic" and "Ectomorphic" systems. The model of an "Expanding Universe" is Ectomorphic, meaning motion involves objects moving outside their prior location or boundary.
"Cosmic expansion and ordinary physical motion have something in common: they are both what might be called ectomorphisms. In an ectomorphism, something is mapped to, generated or replicated in something external to it." CTMU
The logical inversion of an Ectomorphic, expanding universe is an Endomorphic system, ie, a static system with "contracting" content. In the Endomorphic semi-model, the notion of conventional "motion in (expanding) space" is replaced with "internal self reproduction", with state-changes represented as internalized "nesting", per a Venn diagram. https://ist6-3.filesor.com/pimpandhost.com/1/_/_/_/1/a/t/O/s/atOs6/di-G3XQOQ.png
A way to think of Endomorphism, ie "Conspansion", is to imagine a light bulb radiating light in a sphere into empty space. A sphere of light, or circle in a diagram, radiates at "light speed" away from the light bulb, right? If we imagine the edge of the observable universe to be "expanding" away from the bulb at the same "light speed", we can't suppose the light from the bulb is moving whatsoever relative to the edge of the expanding universe. Only by "collapsing" the bulb internally to its own image can a complete understanding of reality be derived.
Another analogy is with a video monitor. A simulated universe could be programmed, with clusters of galaxies "expanded" to the edge of the screen, however any further "increasing metric variance" would require shrinking the images once they've reached the edge of the screen. Conspansive Endomorphism is akin to a video monitor (static state) with no lower-limit on pixel size, such that objects could be "collapses" indefinitely, thereby appearing from a "global" vantage to "shrink" internally to a static system.
Because the Ectomorphic model places "effect" internally to the "causal" domain from which the effect arose, no separation between past and present is logically implied by the model. The past "ranges" over the present, as per a domain in a Venn diagram. The "present", in-turn, "collapses" into the next state, with the present-moment then becoming the overlapping domain covering the next state.
The entire universe can be mapped this way, as nested, overlapping domains, with all quantum-scale "state-transitions" mapped as a Venn-diagramatic domain covering its future. Subjecting the overlapping domains to "parallel processing" then becomes the SIMPLEST POSSIBLE MODEL/MAPPING of reality require to explain QM, GR, Biology and the rest.
I say all this because you mention that energy can't be explained, but it can by the CTMU. What we call "Forces" are the "dynamical programming" inherent in a "self contained universe capable of generating life".
"Spacetime evolution can thus be straightforwardly depicted by Venn diagrams in which the truth attribute, a high-order metapredicate of any physical predicate, corresponds to topological inclusion in a spatial domain corresponding to specific physical attributes. I.e., to be true, an effect must be not only logically but topologically contained by the cause; to inherit properties determined by an antecedent event, objects involved in consequent events must appear within its logical and spatiotemporal image. In short, logic equals spacetime topology." C.M.Langan, Physics & Metaphysics
"Originally called the Computation-Theoretic Model of the Universe, the CTMU was initially defined on a hierarchical nesting of universal computers, the Nested Simulation Tableau or NeST, which tentatively described spacetime as stratified virtual reality in order to resolve a decision-theoretic paradox put forth by Los Alamos physicist William Newcomb....
...Where physical fields of force control or program dynamical geometry, and programming is logically stratified as in NeST, fields become layered stacks of parallel distributive programming that decompose into field strata (conspansive layers) related by an intrinsic requantization function inhering in, and logically inherited from, the most primitive and connective layer of the stack. C.M.Langan, Physics & Metaphysics
I'm still at a loss of what energy is, it seems impossible to define. Perhaps because I try to see it in terms of cause and effect. We assume that energy is contained in matter, that energy manifests through the translation of mass into energy. Thus at a fundamental level all experience points to a relationship between energy and matter. In fission, there is mass lost, in fusion there is mass lost, even in combustion mass is lost. Is that mass simply the conversion to energy? Then you have to wonder, what caused mass to exist in the first place, what imbued matter with this crystalized energy? Some energy had to be expended to produce such a process.
