Or that our civilzation grew because we ran into a 25 000 year "eye of the storm" type of event where temperature was nice and there were almost no storms or giant events that put pressure on humanity. There is some thought that we might be on our way out of the nice weather and back into the tumltuous more dangerous weather that is normal for planet earth.
